Why are The Circle Workshops and Trainings different from the many other sessions out there?

Simon Bucknall
Twice winner of the Toastmasters UK & Ireland Championship of Public Speaking and 2008 winner of the JCI Europe Public Speaking Championship Simon is one of the top public speaking experts in the British Isles.

He specialises in helping executives, politicians, academics, MBA students, postgraduates, entrepreneurs and leaders in the not-for-profit sector to connect, influence and inspire through the spoken word. Simon is the founder and Director of The Art of Connection, which offers world-class communications training, coaching and consultancy.

Richard Mullender
Former Lead Trainer at the Scotland Yard National Crisis & Hostage Negotiation Unit. Richard is an expert in elite-level listening skills – with a lifetime’s experience tackling communication challenges at the sharp end. He has trained staff at the Metropolitan Police, the United Nations and the FBI as well as corporate sector clients such as Oracle, Accor Hotels and the BNP Paribas, helping them to develop their listening skills and use of language to build rapport, establish trust and exert influence in the workplace.

Monica Hernanz

Fiona Dawe CBE.

Fiona has her own consultancy- Vital Space – and is a qualified Time To Think Consultant. She is an accredited Thinking Environment™ coach and facilitator. She has served on a wide variety of boards and advisory groups. Currently she is a trustee of the Windsor Leadership Trust, the Charity Technology Trust, and Changemakers. She is an advisor to the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Social Justice Committee and the Young Achievers Trust.

Fiona’s career spans 30 years in a wide variety of voluntary sector organisations and for 11 years until April 2011, she was Chief Executive of YouthNet, the UK’s first not-for-profit YouthNet runs, the award-winning guide to life for 16-25 year olds and Do-it, the National Volunteering Database. In 2008 YouthNet won The Charity Times “Best Charity to Work For”- one of her proudest moments.
